TimeBank in Verkhovyna - an effective tool of cohesion for a new times

Participatory budgeting. Moving towards transparency and deeper democracy
The Project “Public budgets from A to Z: greater civil society awareness, access and participation” is tasked to involve the general public, the media, and civil society organizations (CSOs) in public finances monitoring and drawing up the state and local budgets. The Project was being implemented (2016-2018) by East Europe Foundation and the Polish-Ukrainian Cooperation Foundation PAUCI funded by the European Union.
Strengthening the participation of vulnerable groups in the budgetary process
On December 20, 2018, the final Conference of the project "Public budgets from A to Z" was held, where the partner organizations presented their activities during the last 2 years.
Invitation to Local Government to Cooperate on Participatory Budget Implementation
Cities and amalgamated communities of Kharkiv, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhya regions are invited to take part in the project “Participatory Budget Implementation Support” executed by Polish-Ukrainian Cooperation Foundation PAUCI within the Project “Support for Amalgamated Communities of Ukraine due to the Increase of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP)” being one of the initiatives of infrastructure program for Ukraine and being executed by German Federal Company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German government. Initiatives are to support the regions hosting the largest number of IDPs, namely: Kharkiv, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhya.
X PAUCI Eastern Policy Forum will be held in Warsaw
X PAUCI Eastern Policy Forum „Transatlantic Community versus Eurasia - Arising Challenges and New Opportunities” will be held in Warsaw on 15th of December. This even will be under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland.

In frame of the Project “Business-Incubator for students, teachers and entrepreneurs” that is realized by Foundation PAUCI have realized 2 studying visits to Poland for entrepreneurs-residents of the incubator in October and November, 2014.

Mision
The Polish-Ukrainian Cooperation Foundation PAUCI established in April 2005 as a legacy organization to the Poland-America-Ukraine Cooperation Initiative. Since 1999, this Initiative served as a unique tri-lateral inter-governmental program (financed by USAID) aimed at sharing best practices of Poland's successful transition from a centrally planned economy to a liberal, market-oriented democracy. From 2005 to 2012 enriched by PAUCI financial and technical assistance, more than 460 Polish and Ukrainian organizations have conducted some 220 partnership projects and activities influencing key areas of civil society and free-market development. The mission of PAUCI: Build the capacity of Ukraine to integrate more closely with the European Union through the application of European experience.
